Flashback Friday: Minnetonka Cave

Our first day was cold and rainy so we decided to go up to Minnetonka Cave. Well so did everyone else around Bear Lake and we had to wait to get into the cave. D hurt his hand so it was bandaged and then we put a glove over it to help it stay clean and dry.

This is his I'm bored and hungry face.
E is looking for chipmunks.
G in one of Grandpa's sweatshirts. We were not prepared for the cold.
Grandpa, Carolyn and G still waiting our turn.
Watching Chipmunks.
Here's one I got a good picture of.
Finally it was our turn to go in the cave.

Here's a few pictures of some of the formations inside.

In the last "room" we were in before we started heading out our guide used my wedding ring and the laser pointer to scatter red dots all over the cave. I thought it was very cool. Afterwards we headed to Le Beau's for yummy shakes but I left the camera in the truck.

Sounds and looks like a lot of fun. Aren't you glad that your in-laws plan all of these cool trips and activities? Lots of fun memories for your family.
